Hi Matthew, if turning very sharp, then lifting the weight off the roller could potentially be a good idea. The risk though is if the mower is lifted too high there is a thrown object risk or there could be damage to the PTO shaft if the lift limit is not correctly set. In general it would be safest to mostly keep the mower on the ground and lift only as necessary. Hope this helps.

Hi Ali, if you mow level surfaces then the FlailDek FX 155 will be suitable. If you mow on hilly terrain then the lighter FlailDek FX 135 will be more suitable to make the most of your tractor PTO power rating. Let us know if you have any other questions?

( total frustration LOL ) Tabs say "learn more" - what exactly? have downloaded catalog and still " Don't know " .At end of day, if blades or flails are sharp, one machine is as good as another.- in good conditions - as exhibited. By all accounts I have a Zoo of Exotic machines for anything from fine grasses to trees - but not a Trimax amongst them. I've got a Round Tuit & Stuck in the field, but a Trimax? - beats me !

eeveeloution 42o ive modified a 42" & 38" mower to mow tees, approaches and surrounds to around 3/4", its nice cause you exhaust out and i cleans up nice with almost no clippings, blows broken tees and markers right away...id actually use this monster for roughs and ranges...

I agree. however this is a 56 hole course... you can only expect so much (GC turf and equipment manager here) we use Jacobsen LF550... though I think I will be moving to toro because the rest of our fleet is red.
